The whole Universe is single Organism

Vedas repeatedly say that the entire universe in one single field and therefore every being is totally interdependent and interconnected – vasudhaiva kutumbakam. This concept if registered in mind several human issues will not rise at all or even if it arises immediate solutions can be found.

What is this concept? It means that the underlying field in which we all operate is one and the same and therefore our ultimate and basic energy source is one and the same.

It is something like fishes in the lake who all survive on the same water body. We are able to comprehend it.

We all inhale and exhale oxygen drawing from the same atmosphere. We understand it, but don’t remember it always, because of which only the smoking, emission of senseless pollutants etc., are remaining uncontrolled.

So also we all live in the field of ether which has made radio, television, phones etc., possible. This also we understand but not to the full extent.

But above all these things there is one more field which is the real energy, but we don’t understand or appreciate it at all.

What is that? It is the ‘universal consciousness’ which is the source of every being, without which nothing would be in the universe – from a cell to a galaxy.

But we are not realizing it. Why- because it is not visible-or materially realizable like light, sound etc., If only we can understand this, then the enmity, the civil wars, the religious wars, the terrorism, the hatred will all vanish.

The lack of understanding of this vital concept has led to deterioration in the moral order in the world. If left uncontrolled it will ruin the entire human race. It is like a forest fire. This is what the ‘rakshasas’ have done.

On the converse, for the same reason if in one single unitary field a few noble souls comprehend this and operate intensely, that can cleanse the world and create a positive impact on a large area and its beings.

That is what the ‘avataraas, sages and gurus’ have done to humanity regularly and periodically. That is why Vedas repeatedly stress on this concept of Vasudhaiva kutumbakam.

Cause-Effect-Karma

Now in the evolution process since the resources are common and to be shared by all, God expects every being to take it’s just share and allow the others to have their share as otherwise an orderly evolution would not be possible.

Therefore anyone trying to grab the resources meant for others is going against the cosmic law and has to be reprimanded because it has a chain of cause and effect consequence and a chain of events hurting the process of evolution.

That is where the law of karma comes to play. It has to operate and the offender has to pay by suffering and extinguishing it as otherwise order cannot be maintained

But the God, out of total compassion-perhaps out of his own interest of not losing a good material if he is willing to correct himself -has made repentance, atonement and redemption possible as an alternative to suffering the karmic bondages.
