Major Shiva Temples in a Straight Line

Some of the most famous and revered Lord Shiva temples in India exist from time immemorial built at a time when there was no satellite technology, forget instruments that could measure the exact longitude and latitude.But, somehow each of these seven temples are accurately aligned in a geographic straight line of- 79° E 41’54" Longitude. Beginning at Kedarnath and ending at Rameshwaram, these Shiva temples were built using the yogic calculations.

Five of these seven temples have Shiva Linga, represented as the manifestation of five basic elements of nature: Temple of water is in Tiruvanaikaval, temple of fire is in Tiruvannamalai , temple of air is in Kalahasti , temple of earth is in Kanchipuram and the temple for space/sky is in Chidambaram.

To sum up

From the above we could see the plain and simple fact that the vedic vision is absolutely scientific and the modern science is just a part of that- a sub pie of the larger vedic pie. In fact there are, as mentioned before several metaphysical laws which are yet to be even comprehended by the scientists–like law of perpetual motion, law of life infusion, law of rebirth , laws of multiple universe, laws of cycle of universe, theory of multiple big bangs , mega black holes etc.,

In respect of these theories the scientific community is divided with one set of scientists agreeing with the Vedic postulations and the other set of scientists saying we are unable to either prove or disprove. But whatever they have confirmed are the same as has been revealed in Vedas thousands of years ago. And it is only going to be matter of time that the balance laws of Vedas will be confirmed by science.

Also Vedas have not just talked about God (in fact Vedas have not spoken about God at all– they have spoken about energy fields only) – but about every conceivable science- Meta physics; Psychology; Cosmology; Physics; Chemistry; Environment; Music; Dance; Architecture; Sculpturing; Mathematics; Geometry; Astronomy; Astrology; Logics; Physiology; Medicine; Minerals and metals; Statecraft; War craft; Construction; Town planning etc., etc.,

It is not simply a religious or metaphysical treatise. It is a compendium of the complete science covering the whole of universe, its occupants and their well being. It is in fact a way of living – happy living, the grand and evolved civilization. We can clearly see that the Vedic Civilization and the Vedic vision is total, complete, unsurpassed and unparalleled. It is a complete science and the ultimate science.

We can and we have to only adore, respect and honor the Vedic Sages through our heartfelt gratitude. Equally we can be proud of our legacy of this great wisdom. The right way to honor those sages will be to convert this Vedic wisdom into applied Vedic wisdom to be available one and all, since the technology and resources are now available to reach it to everybody and make everyone to enjoy the benefits of this great treasure.
