GIRI celebrated Women’s Day on March 8th 2011 at RAGA SUDHA HALL. Our Chief guests were Smt. Ranjani, Film Actress and Canara Bank General Manager Smt. Lalitha Lakshmanan. Giri Celebrates Women’s Day in recognition of Late Smt. Lakshmi Giri who has been the biggest support in the start and growth of GIRI, who remains as ideal personality and role model and of course more than 50% of staff are women.
The program started with Bumper prize distribution to those who made themselves present in the auditorium hall by 8.45 AM for the event. The competitions like Rangoli, Flower Garland making and Dance were held. Many of them participated with great enthusiasm. The delightful event moved forward with Welcome song by our showroom staff, Dance Competitions, Interactive HR Training Programme by Mrs. Indrani Singh, Drama “Arugampillin Mahimai” by students of SRDF Vivekananda Vidyalaya Chrompet.
Smt. Vasumathi was invited to Judge Rangoli and Flower garland making competitions and Smt. Sushama Ranganathan headed as Judge for Dance competitions.The drama was headed by Smt. Surya Mangal and performed by the little stage performers of the school wonderfully which was enjoyed by one and all.
The event was a enjoying and enthusiastic one which would remain as a memorable one in the hearts of the GIRI Staff and Directors. This is one such event where the GIRI staff, Management and the Directors come together to enjoy and rejoice the unity and bond of love which unites them.
