Human Maladies and Divine Remedies

Knowing this reality our Sages and Seers have intensely queried, researched, analyzed and meditated upon these issues and have realized through their great austerity and penance the causes of these maladies and the answers (i.e., the remedies) for these maladies.

This wisdom was revealed to them by the Supreme God himself (and was not composed by them). That is why they are called “Shrutis”.

We must remember the fact that they were the first thinkers and they had no body to guide them excepting their own intellect and intuition to arrive at these great findings which obviously is not possible without the God’s grace.

God did this in his own interest as otherwise his objective of a grand evolution will not be possible and if the evolution process does not proceed in the right direction he won’t be able to complete his journey.

That is why the Vedic truths were revealed by God and received by the sages. The God did not want another ‘Dinosaur episode’ to happen with human beings also.

Since what is in the cosmos is in the body also, it is possible to rectify the imbalances in the psychic body by invoking the divine energies of the omnipresent power that is spread out in the cosmos i.e., throughout the universe and to be more specific all around each one of us.

This remedying process has to be done through the instrument of mind, intellect and conscience and the divine remedy is the route for redeeming the humans from their sufferings

So there is no need to have any fatalistic approach or any escapist attitude towards any issue faced by the human beings as if everything is lost. Any one and in fact everyone can get redeemed of their sufferings if they are willing and committed.

It is better to realize that In any case you won’t be able to run away from your karmic effects unless ‘you suffer it and get them extinguished’ or ‘atone it and get redeemed’. Obviously the best way is to atone it and get redeemed so that you can continue your happy journey sooner than later.

Liberation does not mean avoiding rebirth - but avoiding pains and sufferings of the journey of birth-which means not liberation from cycle of birth and death but liberation from lack of bliss.

We must understand and realize that this world in full of happiness and to say ‘no’ to it is just foolhardy.

Asking for liberation from birth is like telling the God that I don’t want to be a part of your mission. If the so called stoppage of birth is the true liberation what God wants, what was the objective of the God to have started the process of creation itself.

More importantly avoiding rebirth is practically very difficult – an almost impossible task- because if that has to happen, a being should have burnt out all his accumulated karmas and as well as all his desires – both good and bad.

Therefore to foolishly attempt an impracticable task and not doing what we can and what we should do is wasting life, may be life after life.

Anyone can get out of their unbearable sufferings- which are caused by the accumulated bad thoughts, words and deeds (Karmas)-by getting initiated into the practice of the Divine Path to Eternal Bliss and Divine Remedies.

And this process of redemption is not difficult at all because this entire cosmos has been created, maintained and annihilated only by divine vibrations and therefore redemption is equally possible through the same ‘Divine Vibrations’.
