KANCHI MAHA PERIYAVA ARADHANA-2019







Kanchi Maha Periyava, popularly called Sage of Kanchi, was the 68th Jagadguru of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. His birth day of remembrance is annually observed on Jyeshta Purnima tithi – the corresponding date as per Tamil Calendar is that the full phase of the moon day in Vaikasi month. He traveled across the country spreading Dharma and also the teachings of Adi Shankaracharya.

Periyavaa (the alternative name of "Periyavar") is attributable with reworking the outstanding Indian National Congress pioneer F. G. Natesa Iyer from Tiruchirappalli, amid the Indian autonomy development. Periyavaa is recorded to own reconverted F.G.Natesa Iyer from the Christianity back to Hinduism.

It is recorded that, F.G.
